Ranch Remodel
This homeowner had been thinking about a remodel for over twenty years. The logistics of coordinating a remodel seemed overwhelming so we were happy when he asked for a hand with this renovation. A load-bearing wall was removed between the kitchen and the living area which enlarged the kitchen. The eat-in area of the kitchen was replaced by a built-in pantry for improved storage. At the last minute, the owner elected to hold off on the planned island and instead opted for a freestanding table. This unique arrangement works beautifully for him and is an inviting and welcoming place for gatherings of family and friends.
Removing a load bearing wall opened this kitchen to create welcome space for friends and family.
After removing a window that opened to the front porch, the area was patched and space was created for a small sitting area.
