Firefly Interiors
Firefly Interiors was established in 2016 with the goal of helping neighbors, friends, and family with their interior design home, garden, and workplace projects. Each project is tailored to be a unique reflection of the clients needs, style, budget, and timeline.
With an office in Saratoga, California, and remote locations in Pacific Grove and Lake Tahoe, Firefly Interiors is ideally situated to help home and business owners in the San Francisco area and beyond.

I feel very fortunate that after a long and successful career in medicine, I was able to retire early and pursue a "bonus career" in interior design. I earned my degree in design at Canada College and when I started receiving awards for my work, I realized that perhaps starting a business would be a fun endeavor.
Now five years since establishing Firefly Interiors, I have helped family, friends, neighbors, and businesses refresh, remodel, and refurbish their homes and workspaces. It has been a wonderful journey and I am truly thankful for the people who have let me into their lives and spaces.

My passion for interior design began at a young age. I was always fascinated by how interiors affect our daily lives, and I loved making houses for my toys.
In 2000, I earned my degree in Interior Design, and seven years later, I completed a second degree in Architecture. Since then, I have worked continuously in the interior design field.
My interior design career has included a wide range of projects, from residential and commercial spaces to offices, both in Portugal and North America.
I am excited to help Firefly Interiors clients create their magical spaces.
